The application is for the proposed construction of a residential dwelling on the undeveloped Erf 8 Konkiebaai (Portion 53 of Eersterivier 626), Kou-Kamma Municipality, Sarah Baartman Region, Eastern Cape. The area of the property measures 838m2 and is located in a rural coastal landscape. The proposed development on Erf 8 entails a single double-storey (lower ground and ground floor) residential dwelling and associated decking, covering a combined area of approximately 360 m2 (43% of the site).

Notice is hereby provided in terms of Section 24G of the National Environmental Management Act (Act no.107 of 1998) NEMA, of the notification of the Administrative Fine for the above-mentioned project on 13 December 2022 under the reference 24G Application Ref: 14/2/4/2/3/D1/13/0011/22.
The proposed apartments will be developed on RE/3420 Sea Vista, a suburb of St Francis Bay, Eastern Cape (GPS coordinates: 34°11'7.82"S| 24°51'3.87"E).
RE/3420 is 7693m2 of vacant land and is currently zoned for “Special Zone” use (refer to Appendix I for zoning certificate). The proposed development will be the construction of four (4) apartment blocks consisting of four (4) floors (including ground floor) each with a total of 36 units, a reception area, 81 parking bays, and paved pathways leading to future extension plans of a clubhouse and pool area.

The Proposal:
The proposal is to develop a small exclusive beachfront security estate on Portion 66 and 67 of Farm Brakkloof 443, Plettenberg Bay.
The proximity to the beach and the views over the bay will secure high property values as there are very few beachfront properties left in the area. The development concept includes 9 residential stands that vary between ±1319m² and ±1987m² in size.
Notice is hereby provided in terms of the National Environmental Management Act (Act 107 of 1998), the National Environmental Management Act: Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations 2014, as amended, of a 30-day Public Participation Process to be undertaken under the authority of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment (DFFE). Erf 1510 is zoned for Residential use. The property is 815 m2 in extent and is currently vacant.
The dwelling footprint will be 320 m2 and is located in a coastal dune landscape just over 60m from the littoral zone. The proposed residential development will entail the construction of a three-storey (lower ground, ground and first floor) house, associated decking and paving for vehicular access.
