Amendment of EA & Adoption of MMP: Erf 1262 Wilderness WC 14/12/16/3/3/1/2071
Notice is hereby provided in terms of the National Environmental Management Act (Act 107 of 1998), the National Environmental Management Act: Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations 2014, as amended, of a 30-day Public Participation Process to be undertaken under the authority of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment (DFFE). The Public Participation Process will run from 27/10/2022 – 28/11/2022, for the following:
- Amendment of an Environmental Authorisation for the Proposed Development of Erf 1262 Wilderness (14/12/16/3/3/1/2071).
- Adoption of an Environmental Maintenance Management Plan for the Clearing of Sight Lines for New Access to Erf 1262 Wilderness, Western Cape.
In terms of Chapter 5 of the EIA Regulations, 2014 as amended, a Part 1 Amendment Process is applicable to the amendment of the Environmental authorisation. No additional EIA Listed Activities will be applied for in the amendment process.
The following EIA Listed Activities are applicable to the Adoption of the Maintenance Management Plan: Government Notice No. R324 (Listing Notice 3): Activity 12 i (i) (ii)
The draft applications and relevant appendices can be accessed via our website during the public participation period at www.ecoroute.co.za. Alternatively electronic copies can be sent via email, or hard copies will be made available if required.
